Goal: To GO HOME with a nice, new piece of jewelry to show off!

Class Description:

Learn the basic skills required to make Necklaces, Bracelets, and Anklets, beginning with a demonstration on the proper way to hold and use hand tools.  Learn how to make all the necessary parts for jewelry construction:

  1. Eye Pins
  2. Bead Wraps
  3. Jump Rings
  4. Standard Bracelet Closures and Clasps

All Jewelry making supplies are available at Michaels.

  1. 1 Spool of 22 Gauge Copper, Artistic, or Craft wire.

  2. 1 Spool of 18 Gauge to match above. 

  3. Assorted Glass or Semi Precious Beads with holes that your wire will fit through.

  Tools:   Please note that the surface of household tools is grooved, and will leave scratches and bite marks on your wire.  Tools made especially for jewelry have a smooth inner surface so that your precious metals do not get scratched or nicked.  Jewelry making tools are available for purchase at Michaels.
